About the Toronto Scottish
The Toronto Scottish is a Toronto-based Rugby Club playing in the Marshall Premiership League and the Ontario Women’s League in the Ontario Rugby Union. We currently field 3 Senior Men’s teams, 2 Senior Women’s teams and Junior Rugby.
Our home games are at Fletcher’s Fields in Markham, however we often congregate at the Duke of Kent Pub at Yonge and Eglinton.
Both our Men’s and Women’s 1st XVs compete at the highest levels in the top divisions of the province.
Young or old, skilled or average, good-looking or ugly, you will fit in with the Scottish. Well you may not fit in, but if you don’t we won’t tell you. We pride ourselves on outcompeting our opposition on the field, and then again afterwards in the pub.
So if you meet any of the following criteria, we want to see you out at training:
- Professional Rugby Player
- Advanced rugby experience
- Played rugby in high school
- Aware that rugby is played
- Somewhat competitive
- Capable of sustaining a light jog
If you don’t meet any of these criteria but enjoy the odd beer, we’ll see you at The Kent!
