Women's Rugby

TSRFC Women’s Rugby

Friendship  •  Community •  Competitiveness

With the summer right around the corner, the Toronto Scottish women’s rugby team are getting ready for a new year of rugby.

Players new to rugby – No rugby experience yet? No worries! Our coaches are happy to work with players of all levels. Having a 1st and 2nd team allows everyone to play at their current experience and skill level.

We would love to have you join us for our 2020 season!

New Players are always welcome

We field two teams in the Ontario Women’s League (OWL) meaning there is a lot of opportunities for time on the field. Our fifteens season runs from May-August, and all players are invited to stick around for our sevens season in the fall!

Competitive players
The Scottish senior women's rugby team are 10-time Women’s League Cup Champions in the past 20 years and have produced several provincial and national level players.
Players looking to develop
Whether you’re fresh out of high school, in-between seasons at university or an experienced player continuing your career, the Scottish season will help you improve all aspects of your rugby game.
Players looking to stay active
With two practices and one game per week, the Scottish will keep you active and fit all Summer long (and Fall if you participate in the rugby evens season!)
Social players
While we always aim to be competitive on field, the Scottish is also for everyone who wants to have a great time with the team-after all, fun is a big reason we all play rugby! Lots of social events throughout the summer give you the chance to get to know your team mates and Scottish club members.

Ontario and Canada U20 representative

I joined for a chance to play in the Ontario Women’s League (OWL), but stayed for the positive learning environment and friendships I formed while training there. Throughout the past few years at the Scottish I have been able to play high level rugby alongside a great group of women. While still being competitive, the Scottish provided me with the opportunity to improve my skills with the support of teammates and coaches.
